What are the irritation and oral lesions?

These irritations and mouth injuries are bumps, spots, sores in your mouth, on your lips, or tongue. Although there are many forms of oral ulcers, it is common that inflammation, herpes, herpes, candidiasis and candidiasis are common. The following section discusses this issue. If you have a sore mouth, it is not just you that about a third of the population also suffer from this disease. Anyway, these irritants and pain can also cause pain, loss of aesthetics and possibly affect eating, and speaking. You should see a dentist for any sores in the mouth that last for more than a week. Often the dentist will make a biopsy (tissue sample for examination) to determine the cause and screen for certain serious diseases such as cancer and HIV.

How do you know if you have ulcers or have mouth lesions?

The following signs may indicate ulcers or lesions in the mouth:

The sores in the mouth are small white swollen or reddish sores. White sores are not usually contagious, but are often confused with herpes simplex blisters. Remember that sores occur only within the mouth, while blister ulcers often occur outside the mouth. The sores may recur, may be small or large, or cluster like herpes (group or cluster).

Oral ulcers are common and usually recur. Although the exact cause is unknown, some experts say it may be related to bacteria, viruses, or immune system problems. Risk factors include stress, trauma, allergies, smoking, iron deficiency or vitamins, genetic problems.

Herpes simplex, also known as blister fever or herpes simplex, is a group that is characterized by painful, blistering herpes around the lips, sometimes under the nose or around the chin. The cause is usually due to herpes viruses and is highly infectious. Primary viral infections are common in young children, sometimes without symptoms, and can be confused with colds or flu. Once infected, the virus exists in the body and occasionally causes recurrences. However, in most people, the virus is inactive.

The epithelium is a thick, white patch on the inside of the cheeks, gums or tongue. The disease is usually related to smoking, other forms of tobacco, in addition to dentures do not close, teeth are broken, biting the cheek. It is estimated that about 5% of white blood cells develop into cancer, so dentists may have to take tissue samples for examination. Parasites usually go away after stopping smoking.

How to treat irritation or oral lesions?

Treatment depends on the type of illness that you have. For most common types of diseases as mentioned above, treatment is as follows:

Oral ulcers - usually heal after 7 to 10 days, although there are usually recurrences. Over-the-counter pain relievers and analgesics can temporarily soothe. Gargling with antibacterial mouthwashes can reduce irritation. Your doctor may prescribe antibiotics to prevent secondary infections.

Blisters of herpes - blisters usually heal after a week. Since there is no cure for herpes infection, herpes zoster can relieve stress, exposure to sunlight, allergies, or fever. Local anesthetics may temporarily sedate the symptoms. Antiviral drugs can reduce this condition - consult your doctor.

Blepharoplasty - treatment by removing the underlying causes such as stopping tobacco use, replacing the denture if not fitted properly. Your dentist will monitor your condition and examine the lesion for 3 to 6 months, depending on the type of lesion, location, and size.

Candida Candidiasis - Treatment includes the management of disease outbreaks.

Cleansing the denture, removing the denture at night is also important.

If the cause of antibiotics, oral contraceptives, should reduce the dose and change the treatment.

Artificial saliva can improve dry mouth.

Antifungal medications can be used when underlying causes are unavoidable and cannot be treated.

Good oral hygiene is also an important factor.

Note: the efficacy of the treatment can vary depending on each patient’s condition.
