Implant post made from titanium is surgically placed in upper or lower jaw bone in order to replace missing tooth root
The abutment:
Plays an important role in connecting and fixing implant screw and enamel crown with each other

Dental Implant history
The material of the implant was accidentally found out by an Swedish orthopedic surgeon – Per-Invar Branemark. In a bone fracture repair for a rabbit, he had fitted small pieces of titanium into the rabbit‘s bone.
After several months, when the rabbit’s bone was healed, he wanted to remove these titanium pieces, to examine them. To his astonishment, he found it impossible.  Continuing observe, he realized that the titanium had become fused to the bone. It was not until he broadened his research and studied step by step that he acknowledged that there is no biochemical reaction impacting on live body. Branemark came up with the phrase "Osseo-integration" to describe what he had seen.
Titanium becomes material paved a way for the success of Dental implant. The first dental implant surgery using titanium was in 1965 in Sweden. The implant is still in use after 40 years
Up till now, this method  is constantly developing: complete teeth structure, modern machine, and effective dental implant technique.
At the moment, I-DENT Dental Implant Center is the first place to adopt dental implant therapy from France to Vietnam.
The efficacy of the treatment can vary depending on each patient’s condition.
